Double board-certified child & adolescent psychiatrist.

The Problem

Most schools are working without clinical backup.

1 in 6 children ages 2–8 has a diagnosed mental health condition. Schools are where those children spend most of their day. And most schools are trying to support them with tools that were never designed with clinical input.

Teachers improvise. Kids go unsupported. The gap between what clinical care looks like and what happens in the classroom keeps widening.

Little Minds Co. exists to close that gap

The Solution

Every tool in the Little Minds Co. suite was developed by Dr. Chanté Dickerson, DO a double board- certied psychiatrist specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. Not a curriculum designer. Not an educator with good intentions. A physician with direct clinical experience across inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings with children.

That credential isn’t a marketing claim. It’s a structural advantage. And it’s what institutional buyers, school districts, healthcare systems, and nonprofits increasingly require.

About the founder

Dr. Chanté Dickerson, DO

Dr. Chanté Dickerson is a double board-certified psychiatrist (Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, ABPN) and founder of Onward Health and Wellness. She specializes in making psychiatric care fast, accessible, and judgment-free.

After completing her psychiatry residency and child/adolescent fellowship at Creighton University, Dr. Dickerson spent years working in hospital systems and community mental health settings. She consistently saw the same problem: intelligent, motivated people couldn't access psychiatric care because of insurance delays, narrow networks, and gatekeeping.

That's why she built Onward.

Onward removes the barriers. No insurance bureaucracy. No waiting months for an appointment. No prior authorizations. Just direct access to a psychiatrist who listens, respects your time, and works with you toward clarity and stability.

Dr. Dickerson is particularly passionate about serving Black and vulnerable communities, who face the most significant psychiatric access barriers. She believes psychiatry should be available to everyone who needs it, not just those who can navigate insurance systems or pay out of pocket.

When not seeing patients, you'll find her thinking about systems change, building mental health equity into her community, or investing in her own wellness. She's based in Arizona and sees adult patients virtually across the state.
