About Our Practice

Onward Health and Wellness provides outpatient telepsychiatry services for adults 18 and older, including psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and follow-up care. This practice is designed for individuals seeking ongoing, stable psychiatric care. We are not a crisis or emergency service and are unable to accommodate urgent or same-day needs. If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or call or text 988.

Appointments and Cancellations

We ask that you cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment will be charged the full visit fee. If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment without prior notice, the full fee will also apply. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in discharge from the practice.

Membership and Billing

This practice operates on a monthly subscription model. The current membership fee is $250 per month. A valid credit or debit card on file and enrollment in AutoPay are required to maintain active membership. Fees are charged on a recurring monthly basis regardless of appointment frequency. This practice does not accept insurance of any kind. Superbills are available upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement. All fees are the responsibility of the patient.

Communication and Messaging

All communication outside of appointments should occur through your SimplePractice patient portal. Secure messaging is available for non-urgent questions, medication refill requests, and care coordination. Messages are typically answered within one to two business days. Please do not use secure messaging for urgent or emergency needs. Phone and email communication are not available as primary channels of contact.

Telehealth and Technology

All services are delivered via secure video technology. You must be physically located in the state of Arizona at the time of all appointments. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a stable internet connection and a private, confidential space for your appointment. If you experience technical difficulties, please message us through the portal to reschedule. You may withdraw your consent to telehealth services at any time by notifying the practice in writing.

Termination of Care

Either party may end the therapeutic relationship at any time. If you wish to discontinue care, please notify us through your portal. If you have not scheduled an appointment or had contact with the practice in 90 days without prior arrangement, your membership may be discontinued. In the event that care is discontinued for any reason, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in transitioning to another provider.
